SCANDINAVIAN DEPARTMENT

BA system minor course in Scandinavian studies aims to give students basic language skills in the chosen language and familiarize them with basic literary, linguistic, cultural and historical studies in connection with Scandinavia or a specialized country.
The course is planned to be a 2 or 3-yearterm.
General Certificate of Education or Intermediate Language Certification ("C"), either in English or German are requirements of application.
BA system minor course in Scandinavian studies has to be started at the beginning of the autumn term. Students officially apply for minor courses during the autumn term exam period. Subjects can be adopted according to the order of each subject requirement. Subjects signed with the same numbers (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D or 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) have to be completed in the same semester.
Before application for minor courses, students need to consult with the head of the department (in the first week of the autumn term at the latest), as the number of students in BA minor courses depends on applicants.
The course is finished with Final exam in Danish/Norwegian/Swedish language no. SKA-903. The Final exam can be fulfilled with requirements of all successful subjects.
